Mentawai Islands Surf Spots

The Mentawai Islands are situated approximately 80 nm west of West Sumatra Indonesia. The chain consists of 4 main islands ( Siberut ; Sipora; Pagai Utara and Pagai Selatan) all surrounded by many smaller tropical islands.

During the southern hemisphere winter (late April to early November) the Indian Ocean is an over-active groundswell machine sending long period swell up into the Mentawai island chain producing some of the best waves the world has to offer.

Here on Switchfoot, our meals will consist of Indonesian and Western cuisine. All are cooked by Switchfoot’s Super Chef Donnie, using the highest quality ingredients available. This includes fresh fish, chicken, imported steak, and curries, etc. The menu consists of an extensive range of healthy dishes
